The Italian boxing team have lodged a complaint over Roberto Cammarelle's loss to Anthony Joshua.
The Brit scooped gold in the super heavyweight division of the Olympic Games thanks to a decision on countback when the scores had ended level.
Cammarelle had led by three points as they began the third round, although it seemed that Joshua had done enough to win the final round.
After a nervous wait, the news came through that the appeal had been turned down and Joshua could take his place atop the podium.
