Harvey Horn loses out to Vasilii Egorov

Team GB boxer Harvey Horn is beaten on points by Russia's Vasilii Egorov in the last-16 stage of the 2015 World Championships in Doha.

Team GB boxer Harvey Horn has been beaten by Russia's Vasilii Egorov in the last-16 stage of the 2015 World Championships in Doha.

Horn, who impressively beat India's Devendro Laishram in his first bout on Tuesday, was taking on Egirov for the second time at a major tournament, having lost to the same opponent in the European Championships earlier this year.

All three judges gave the first two rounds to Egorov, despite Horn showing his speed and seemingly doing enough to fend off his energetic opponent.

Egorov also came out swinging in the third and final round and was again ahead all three of the scorecards as the Russian booked his spot in the quarter-finals.
