British boxer Michael Sprott attacked the referee last night during his fight against Kazakhstan's Edmund Gerber after the fight was stopped in the fourth round.
Sprott, who had been leading the fight, was caught with a right hand, which knocked him to the floor.
Referee Gerhard Sigl, after checking Sprott, dedided to end the fight in the Kazakh's favour, causing the Reading-born fighter to react furiously and push him to the floor.
