Australian bowler Pat Cummins will play no further part in his nation's one-day international tour of England.
The teenager is suffering with a side strained that he picked up during the opening match of the series at Lord's last week.
Having undergone a scan on the complaint, Cummins will now return home to continue his recovery.
"Pat sustained an abdominal muscle strain on his left side during the first ODI at Lord's," said Australian team doctor John Orchard.
"While he was able to complete his 10 overs, he was sore after the game and was scanned - the results of which have revealed a medium grade side-strain.
"This will keep him out of the remainder of the England tour. His return to cricket will be decided in due course, based on follow-up examinations in Australia."
No replacement has been called up for the 19-year-old.
