Tim Bresnan believes that he can make an impact for England in the upcoming Test series against India.
The all-rounder has been included in the squad for the first Test at Lord's on Thursday but faces tough competition from Stuart Broad for a starting place.
"I just need that one chance to show everyone what I've got again, get back in that side and, hopefully, cement down a place," the 26-year-old said.
The Yorkshireman also had kind words for Broad. "Stuart is a fantastic bowler, a fantastic all-round cricketer and his record in the past shows that he is an unbelievable talent and deserves to be in the mix," he explained.
The Lord's encounter will be the 2,000th Test in the history of the game.
