Jos Buttler had admitted that he is eager to see England produce entertaining cricket against Australia this summer.
The hosts are underdogs to win back The Ashes after suffering a 5-0 series whitewash in the last clash between the two sides.
However, Buttler believes that England should adopt an aggressive approach and he is hopeful of entertaining the home supporters throughout the five Tests.
"My view is that you have a duty to entertain people if you play," the wicket-keeper is quoted as saying by The Mirror. "You want people to come and be sat watching you bat, as opposed to in the bars.
"You want to entertain and I think what has been really pleasing the last few weeks is that guys have come in and wanted to show international cricket what they've got.
"You are really lucky to get thousands of people in a ground watching you do your job. That's a great place to be and it's our duty to entertain them."
The first Ashes Test begins in Cardiff on July 8.
