Australia have reduced England to 24-2 in their second innings in Brisbane to leave the tourists requiring another 537 to win the first Ashes Test match.

After losing two wickets for 10 runs at the start of the morning session, Australia dominated the remainder of day three to leave England teetering on the brink of a heavy defeat.
David Warner and Michael Clarke put on a third-wicket partnership of 158 before Warner was dismissed for 124, but it failed to slow Australia down as the home captain brought up his century.
Clarke was eventually bowled for 113 by Graeme Swann, but an aggressive 90-run partnership between Brad Haddin and Mitchell Johnson helped Australia set England a target of 561.
England desperately needed to see out the final 15 overs of the day, but after Michael Carberry and Jonathan Trott got out cheaply, Alastair Cook's side will resume day four requiring a remarkable effort to avoid falling behind in the five-match series.
