Andrew Flintoff has claimed that Tim Bresnan is not his replacement within the England team.
Bresnan has impressed with both bat and ball during his short England career but Flintoff insists that the Yorkshire seamer should not be compared to anyone.
The former captain told The Sun: "It's hard for any young all-rounder coming into the side after Botham.
"You get the label and we've never really replaced Botham. I did alright for a little bit but Bresnan's not a replacement for me.
"He's just brilliant and I don't think people appreciate what he does."
England have won every one of the 13 matches for which Bresnan has been chosen.
