Kevin Pietersen has hit out at the England and Wales Cricket Board after a document allegedly detailing the batsman's misdemeanours was apparently leaked to the media.
While the 34-year-old was discussing his new autobiography with various media outlets yesterday, the details of an alleged ECB dossier were published by the ESPN Cricinfo website.
The document allegedly lists their issues with Pietersen, which led to the batsman's dismissal back in February following England's disastrous Ashes campaign in Australia.
The ECB have claimed that the document, which also spells captain Alastair Cook's name as Alistair, was a draft email for its lawyers.
"It is embarrassing," Sporting Life quotes Pietersen as saying. "They couldn't even spell Cooky's name right. It is a joke. I am done with it. It is so embarrassing I don't want to give it any thought. I am just getting on with my life."
Pietersen's book KP: My Autobiography is released tomorrow.
