The third one-day international between England and Australia has been abandoned because of consistent rain throughout the day in Warwickshire.
Play was due to begin in the day-nighter at around 2pm but after regular pitch inspections the officials decided to call it off a little after 6pm.
England lead the five-match series 2-0 and were looking to wrap it up with a win at Edgbaston this afternoon.
They will now look to seal the series in the next match due to take place at Durham on Saturday.
Today's abandonment has taken away any hopes of England becoming the number one 50-over side as they needed to win all five matches to do so.
