India captain MS Dhoni has said that he anticipates a "high-voltage game" when his team plays Pakistan tomorrow.
Tickets for the fixture sold out within 20 minutes, and organisers expect the match to draw the biggest television audience in the history of the sport.
"It's the perfect scenario to start," Dhoni told BBC Sport.
"When we play Pakistan there's definitely more intensity. It's one of those occasions where the spectators really love it, it's one of the most prized games when it comes to the ODI format."
Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq said that the match is "like a final before the final, not only for fans but also for both teams".
India are the current holders of the Cricket World Cup and have won all five of their previous World Cup matches against Pakistan.
