BJ Watling has scored his fourth Test century as he and Kane Williamson continue to pile on the runs at tea on day four of the second Test against Sri Lanka.
The pair, who came together yesterday, have a partnership worth 286 runs - a sixth-wicket record for the Black Caps against Sri Lanka - while the lead has extended to 310.
Williamson (190*) is closing in on his first Test double century and is just one run short of his highest Test score, as the home side finished the afternoon session on 445-5 after adding 120 runs in a fluent middle session.
Williamson is just 18 runs short of 3,000 Test runs, while Watling (118*) is chasing the seven runs needed to pass his highest score in the format.
New Zealand won the first Test in Wellington last week.
