Yorkshire have told Ajmal Shahzad that he is free to find another county.
The England bowler will leave the Headingley-based side having featured in all three of their County Championship matches this season.
"There has been a lot of discussion over a period of time with Ajmal regarding his cricket and it has been agreed by the club and the player that it is in the player's best interests that he pursues his career elsewhere," said director of cricket Martyn Moxon.
"I would like to wish Ajmal every success in the future."
Shahzad took four wickets in his one and only Test appearance for England against Bangladesh in 2010.
