Pakistan have confirmed that Mohammad Hafeez will replace Misbah-ul-Haq as captain of the nation's Twenty20 side for the rest of the year.
The 31-year-old has been installed as the one-day skipper following Misbah-ul-Haq's retirement from the short form of international cricket.
Meanwhile, wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal has been included in Pakistan's 15-man squad for their T20 contest against Australia for the first time since the World Cup in 2011.
Pakistan will take on the Aussies next month in the United Arab Emirates.
