Britain's Lizzie Armitstead has secured an overall victory in the Ladies Tour of Qatar by claiming a win in the final stage.
The 26-year-old beat Chloe Hosking in a sprint finish in downtown Doha to win by 12 seconds.
"It's a really nice surprise, I'm in better shape than I expected," she told Cycling Weekly.
"I didn't come here to win; I came here for the training, and to find out what I'm missing."
Armitstead won the gold medal in the road race at last year's Commonwealth Games, while she also claimed a silver medal in the same event at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
