Bradley Wiggins confident ahead of time trial

Britain's Bradley Wiggins is confident that he can be successful during tomorrow's time trial.

British cyclist Bradley Wiggins believes that he is in good shape to claim a gold medal during tomorrow's time trial.

The 32-year-old has had a busy schedule of late, winning the Tour de France and competing during the Olympic road race on Saturday afternoon.

However, having undergone extensive work with fitness trainer Tim Kerrison, Wiggins has revealed that he is confident of coming out on top.

"I have 100% faith in the training Tim has set me and it is more mental than physical," said Wiggins. "I think that I have done enough now to realise that there is no reason it is suddenly all going to collapse on Tuesday night.

"My performances all year have been consistent so I have no reason to think that is going to change, so that comes with age and experience."

Victory tomorrow would see Wiggins take his Olympic medal tally to seven.
