Great Britain's women's individual C5 pursuit gold medallist Sarah Storey has admitted that the manner of her victory in the final was a surprise.
Storey stormed to victory by lapping her Polish opponent Anna Harkowska two-thirds of the way through the race, with the ease of her win coming as a shock.
"I suppose it does look easy but you have to be able to prepare," she told Channel 4.
"I didn't expect to catch her as quickly as I did, but you have to step your game up in the final.
"You want the rider to come towards you as quickly as possible so you can just finish!"
Storey won five swimming medals before switching to cycling at the last Paralympics.
