Kim Huybrechts has revealed that he feels like he is entering the unknown ahead of his Premier League debut on Thursday night.
The Belgian was handed a wildcard for the event after his semi-final appearance at the Grand Slam of Darts in November, and ahead of his match with Michael van Gerwen, he has admitted that his appearance in Leeds will be one of the highlights of his career.
The 29-year-old told the PDC's YouTube channel: "I don't know what to expect - I want to get up there and enjoy every moment.
"I'm very excited and looking forward to my first week, against the number one in the world with a lot of people watching - it doesn't get any better than this.
"We all know what Michael can do and you're going to have to play your top game to beat him, so I know what I have to do."
Huybrechts currently sits in 17th position in the PDC Order of Merit.
