Phil Taylor has revealed that he was happy with his performance after he qualified for the third round of the UK Open.
The sixteen-time world champion comfortably beat Kevin Dowling on Thursday night to progress through to the last 64, and the Stoke-on-Trent thrower has admitted that he is "raring to go" against Ronny Huybrechts on Friday evening.
The 52-year-old told PDC.tv: "The break has been great for me and I'm raring to go here.
"It was nerve-racking playing on the opening night among so many players, so I'm delighted to have got through it.
"It's a longer format in the third round so I can relax a bit more, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend now."
Taylor is looking to regain the trophy after losing out to Robert Thornton in the final last year.
