Michael van Gerwen has insisted that Phil Taylor can be beaten at the PDC World Championship.
However, the Dutchman, who will face the 15-time winner in the final on New Year's Day if both players continue to progress, says that anyone hoping to topple Taylor must bring their A game.
"If he's not at his top level people can beat him, it's as simple as that," Van Gerwen told Sky Sports News.
"You always need to prepare yourself well to play Phil Taylor. You need to play at 110% if you want to beat him, otherwise you won't.
"His top [level] is so high that you will never beat him easily."
Van Gerwen has beaten Taylor in his last two attempts, but The Power has won 14 of their 18 all-time meetings.
