Martin Adams has whitewashed Tony O'Shea in the first round of the 2014 BDO World Darts Championship.
The three-time winner capitalised on a below-par display from O'Shea to win nine successive legs to record a 3-0 triumph.
Adams, who came through a preliminary round match on Saturday afternoon, began the contest with a 13-dart leg and never looked back as O'Shea struggled to put him under any pressure.
Several missed doubles from the 57-year-old threatened to allow O'Shea a way back into the match, but the number three seed continued to miss the target as he bowed out of the tournament with a 74.96 average.
Adams will now play Scotland's Ross Montgomery for a place in the quarter-finals.
