Celtic are believed to be considering a move for Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen but a move to Glasgow for the Dane reportedly faces a big obstacle.
The Red Devils delivered a significantly improved performance on Thursday compared to last weekend, with Ruben Amorim securing his first victory since taking charge.
Against Bodo/Glimt, the new head coach started Manuel Ugarte alongside Bruno Fernandes in central midfield, while Mason Mount was deployed in a more advanced role.
This follows a wave of criticism directed at Casemiro and Eriksen, who started in Amorim's first game in charge against Ipswich Town but struggled to keep up with the intensity of his demands.

Eriksen wages stumbling block to Celtic move
Eriksen has experienced a personal resurgence this season, starting nine times under Erik ten Hag before the Dutchman was axed following the side's 2-1 defeat to West Ham last month.
However, his playing time is expected to decrease as Kobbie Mainoo approaches full fitness, with the Englishman considered a better fit for Amorim's style.
There has been speculation about a possible January departure for Eriksen, whose current contract at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of the season.
Celtic have been credited with an interest in the Danish international, but according to Football Insider, his current wages of £150,000-per-week are proving to be a major stumbling block.
The report adds that the Scottish champions are unlikely to match such a high wage and may opt to wait until next summer to try signing him on a free transfer.
Eriksen joined the Premier League giants in 2022 on a free transfer and has since made 86 appearances for the club.

Amorim not considering January signings
Since his arrival, Amorim has been linked with bringing several of his former players from Sporting Lisbon to Old Trafford, including winger Geovany Quenda and striker Viktor Gyokeres.
Reports this week suggested that the Red Devils have opened discussions with Quenda's agent Jorge Mendes, despite the player recently extending his contract with the Primeira Liga champions until 2027.
However, it seems that Amorim has no intentions of making any new signings in the winter window, and instead, is focused on developing his current crop of players.
United are currently in 12th place in the Premier League table and are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they play host to Everton.
