AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that only Lionel Messi can score 50 goals in a season.
The Italian has reassured Rossoneri striker Stephan El Shaarawy that it is normal for players to share the goals.
The 20-year-old led the club's scoring charts at one stage but has only netted twice in his last 13 matches, but Allegri is not worried.
"There is only one player who scores 40 to 50 goals a season and he plays for Barcelona," said Allegri referring to Messi.
"El Shaarawy scored 16 goals in the first half of the season and it's normal now that other players will start scoring. The forwards are all scoring well."
Milan take on Fiorentina later today in Serie A.
