Adriano Galliani wants AC Milan to compete with Juventus for the Serie A title next season.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has urged his team to challenge for the Serie A title next season.

The Rossoneri last won the Scudetto in 2011 and the club official wants them to regain the championship from Juventus next season.

"Milan are the biggest team in Italy in terms of revenue," he told Milan Channel. "And we must improve in order to have a competitive team – both in Italy and in Europe.

"We need to 'give gas' to our players in order to make the Champions League for the 11th time in 12 years.

"Once we do that, hopefully next year, with a team that is properly integrated, we can fight for the Scudetto."

Milan are currently third in Serie A, while Juventus, who won the title last season, are at the top of the league table.
