Michael Essien completes his move from Chelsea to AC Milan.

Michael Essien has completed a move from Chelsea to AC Milan.

The Ghana international midfielder, 31, has signed a deal until summer 2015 with the Italian club.

Essien, who joined Chelsea from Lyon in 2005, underwent a medical with Milan over the weekend before agreeing terms.


Essien won two Premier League titles, four FA Cups, the League Cup and the Champions League during his time with Chelsea.
