Arsenal's Calum Chambers has been brought into the England senior squad following the injury suffered by John Stones on Sunday.
Everton defender Stones was initially included in the squad for the Euro 2016 qualifiers against San Marino and Estonia, but Roberto Martinez has confirmed that the 20-year-old is likely to be out for a number of weeks after he damaged ankle ligaments in the defeat to Manchester United.
Chambers was set to play for England Under-21s in their European Championship qualifying playoff tie with Croatia, but will now provide Roy Hodgson with an extra defensive option.
The Football Association has revealed that Gareth Southgate will not be bringing in anyone to replace Chambers ahead of the first leg on Friday.
