Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny in positive spirits

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny claims that he has improved "on several levels" since joining the club in 2010.

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has claimed that he has improved "on several levels" since joining the club four years ago.

The French international, who was linked with a move to Bayern Munich over the summer, has become a key player at the back for the Gunners since he arrived from Lorient in 2010.

"For some months, I've felt better on several levels," Koscielny told L'Equipe.

"In England, you have to be more aggressive in all levels: speed, control, passing, challenges in the air, anticipation... and I've got more physical presence."

Koscielny has made three appearances in all competitions for Arsenal so far this season.
