Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has praised his teammates for their application during the club's recent pre-season tour of Asia.

The Gunners scored 19 goals on their way to winning all four matches in the Far East.

"We won all our games so that's good for confidence," Sky Sports News quotes Koscielny as saying.

"We had a lot of training and all the players trained very well and gave themselves for the team.

"Pre-season is very important for the Premier League. It's a long season so we need to be fit - I think we did well."

Arsenal start this year's Emirates Cup against Napoli on Saturday.
