Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has declared that he is enjoying playing in the special atmosphere created by a London derby.
Podolski helped Arsenal pick up all three points in a capital clash against West Ham United, and told the club's official website that he thrives in these kind of matches.
The German international said: "The atmosphere was very good, the fans are crazy and you get a lot of derbies here.
"In Germany you only have one or two derbies, here you have five. I like derbies but it was not good to lose to Chelsea at home.
"However, beating West Ham means we are back near the top of the league. I think it was a very important result."
Podolski has two Premier League goals so far this season, with the Gunners sitting in seventh in the table after losing just once in their opening seven league matches.
