Fabian Delph and Calum Chambers have reportedly both been included in the England squad for next month's friendly with Norway and the Euro 2016 qualifier against Switzerland.
Roy Hodgson is believed to have been convinced to hand call-ups to three uncapped players, with Danny Rose also being named in the squad, according to The Mirror.
Delph won plaudits for his performances with Aston Villa in the latter stages of last season, and he looks set to be rewarded for his run of good form, while Chambers has impressed since making the switch to Arsenal from Southampton this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose was reported to be close to leaving White Hart Lane following the arrival of Ben Davies, but his displays in the early stages of the campaign have reportedly caught the eye of Hodgson.
Rose is likely to be competing with Leighton Baines for a spot at left-back, with Luke Shaw currently nursing a hamstring injury.
