Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has claimed that the team is "more prepared" to challenge for trophies this season.
Despite losing Bacary Sagna to Manchester City, the Gunners have added Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy to their ranks this summer.
Szczesny believes that those additions, as well as the confidence gained from winning the FA Cup, should see Arsene Wenger's side perform well during the upcoming campaign.
"I think we're stronger. I believe we're stronger, we have more experience and we managed to win our first trophy with the FA Cup, so the pressure's off and mentally we'll be more prepared as well," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
Arsenal start the new Premier League season at home to Crystal Palace on August 16.
