Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has lavished praise upon Mesut Ozil, following the German's impressive season at the club.
The 26-year-old had initially struggled to settle in his first year at the Gunners following his big-money move from Real Madrid in September 2013.
However, he found his feet in his second season at the club and helped them to defend their FA Cup title and qualify for the Champions League.
"Mesut is a very good player, we all know about his quality, we all know about what he has done in the game," Henry told Arsenal's official website. "He is a world champion, you have to respect that and his vision on the pitch is tremendous.
"He is an amazing player. When he is on song like he was in the FA Cup final, he is difficult to stop.
"When you have the likes of [Olivier] Giroud in the box, Alexis Sanchez running at people and Theo [Walcott] too, Mesut can see a pass and control the game in the same way that Santi [Cazorla] does."
Ozil scored five goals for Arsenal last season and set up another nine for his teammates.
