Theo Walcott has warned Thierry Henry that he plans to keep the number 14 shirt ahead of the Frenchman rejoining the club on loan.
Henry wore the number during his previous stint at the Gunners, where he became the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
"I've got Thierry's shirt number now but he's not getting it back, even if he comes back for a while. I've already told him that," Walcott said.
Henry is some paperwork away from joining Arsenal on a short-term loan from New York Red Bulls, and Walcott says that he is excited to play alongside the striker again.
"It's great having him in training. He's a great finisher as always and a good leader around the dressing room," Walcott said.
Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League with 33 points from 18 games.
