Theo Walcott: 'Next season will be massive for Arsenal'

Theo Walcott believes that next season will be "massive" for both himself and Arsenal.

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has claimed that next season will be "massive" for himself and the team.

The England international is currently recovering from a serious knee injury that ruled him out for the rest of the campaign back in January.

Despite his absence, Walcott believes that winning next month's FA Cup final against Hull City will give the Gunners plenty of momentum heading into the 2014-15 season.

"I miss everyone as you want to be back on the pitch with your teammates," he told the club's official website. "But I think next season will be a massive one for myself and the team.

"If we win the FA Cup, which we have a great chance to do with the way we are playing, the players are going to want more trophies. I think the first one is so important - once you win that, you'll win more and more. I'm pretty sure of that."

Arsenal need one win from their remaining two games in the Premier League to guarantee them Champions League qualification next year.
