Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed suggestions that his side are overly dependent on midfielder Santi Cazorla.
The 27-year-old failed to perform to his best against Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday, and the Gunners went down 1-0 at Carrow Road.
"It is not as simple as just stopping Cazorla and stopping Arsenal," said Wenger. "Santi was a little flat at the weekend, and that was the same for many of the team, but I believe if the team play well, then he is very difficult to stop playing.
"Saturday's result was a big setback for us, but I can still justify the ambition I have in this team.
"There is still so much more to come from us and we have to get over the Norwich defeat and focus on the next game."
Arsenal will host Schalke at the Emirates in the Champions League on Wednesday.
