Arsene Wenger does not believe that Manchester City have improved since last season, as he prepares to welcome them to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger does not believe that Manchester City have improved this season.

City travel to the Emirates Stadium this afternoon and Wenger thinks that they are not as good as they were last time out.

"They are not necessarily stronger than last season," said Wenger. "That's mainly because they were so strong last year.

"The championship is not over, so let's judge teams at the end of the season.

"Of course, in the Champions League it is finished for them but in the Premier League we'll see at the end of the season. It's far from over."

City could fall ten points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United if they lose to Arsenal, and United beat Liverpool.
