Pep Guardiola is '100%' certain to join City?

Pep Guardiola has reportedly agreed a deal to take over as Manchester City manager next season.

Pep Guardiola is reportedly ready to become Manchester City's manager next season.

The former Barcelona boss admitted that he was ready for a return to football after a year's sabbatical.

The Sun quotes the 41-year-old as saying: "I will return next season but it would show a lack of respect to talk about any team that has a coach."

The same newspaper claims that a respected Spanish source told them: "It's 100% certain that Guardiola is going to City this summer.

"And when I say 100%, I don't mean 99%. I mean 100% certain."

Guardiola has also been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea.

It is thought that he will become Britain's highest-paid manager, earning around £10m per year after tax.
