Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger suggests that his side's only hope of qualifying for the Champions League next season will be a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested that the only way the Gunners can qualify for the Champions League next season is if they clinch a top-four spot in the Premier League.

The North London outfit have a mountain to climb in the second leg of the round-of-16 European tie after losing 3-1 to Bayern Munich at the Emirates last night.

"Look, we'll have two battles but maybe the easier battle will be to be back in the Champions League," Wenger said in a press conference.

Arsenal are currently four points adrift of fourth-placed rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the league table.
