Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his side are "in a strong position" to clinch third spot after their 3-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night.
Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott and Yossi Benayoun were all on target as the Gunners moved five points clear of Tottenham Hotspur.
"We've still got a long way to go, but at least we're in a strong position now," Wenger told Sky Sports News. "It is looking good but when you have my experience you're always cautious.
"The target is to win our games, starting with the next one."
Arsenal continue their campaign on Monday when they host Wigan Athletic.
