West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has revealed that he is hoping to sign Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson on loan in the next 24 hours.
Hull City have also been linked with the 22-year-old full-back, though the Hammers are thought to be leading the chase for his signature.
Jenkinson is expected to leave the Gunners this summer following the arrivals of Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers.
"We're interested in signing Carl Jenkinson from Arsenal on loan," Allardyce told talkSPORT. "I'm hoping it's going to be completed in the next 24 hours. We're hoping that's going to be okay."
Jenkinson scored one goal in 22 games for Arsenal last season.
