Colorado Rapids youngster Cole Bassett has allegedly been provided with a week-long trial at Arsenal.
Despite being just 18 years of age, Bassett was given 29 appearances in the Colorado first team during the most recent campaign.
The emergence of the teenager has seemingly led to interest from Arsenal, who are said to have invited the prospect to spend seven days in London.
Speaking to The Denver Post, Bassett said: "As most people already know, this is my favourite club. I don't know which team it will be because it's an international break for them.
"Hopefully, there will be a couple of guys missing with the first team and I can get with them, but I'm just excited to get over there and show up basically."
Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke is also in charge of the MLS side.
