Arsenal have reportedly been scouting Lille's Jonathan David ahead of a potential move for the centre-forward during next summer's transfer window.
The Gunners are expected to be in the market for a new striker next year, as Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah could both leave following the expiration of their contracts.
Arsenal are said to be considering a move for Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but according to the Evening Standard, Lille's David is also an option for the North London club.
The report claims that Mikel Arteta's side have been scouting the Canada international, who is believed to be valued by his French club in the region of £30m.
The 21-year-old - also linked with Liverpool - has scored 12 times in 22 appearances for Lille during the 2021-22 campaign, including 10 goals in 16 Ligue 1 outings.
David only arrived at Stade Pierre-Mauroy from Gent last year, but Les Dogues could struggle to keep hold of him amid interest from the Premier League.
