Arsenal reportedly remain interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz.
The Gunners strengthened their midfield in the summer with the £105m signing of England international Declan Rice.
Despite recruiting the 24-year-old from West Ham United, Arsenal continue to scour the market for potential midfield reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window.
A recent report claimed that the Gunners are open to allowing Jorginho and Thomas Partey to leave the club, as they look to make room for a new addition.
According to 90min, Arsenal are considering a number of targets, including Aston Villa's Luiz, who was previously linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in 2022.

Arsenal made three bids for Luiz ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, but they were all rejected by the West Midlands club.
Although a deal failed to materialise, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu Gaspar remain admirers of the 25-year-old.
Luiz is attracting interest after enjoying an impressive start to the season, scoring six goals in 14 competitive appearances.
While Arsenal continue to monitor his performances, they may find it difficult to prise the Brazilian away from Villa Park.

Unai Emery's side have no intention of selling Luiz in the January transfer window, while the player is believed to be happy at the club.
In addition to Luiz, the Gunners are keeping tabs on a number of possible targets, including Fluminense midfielder Andre.
However, Arsenal are facing competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool, who are believed to be winning the race to secure his signature.
The Gunner have also been watching Feyenoord's Quinten Timber and Valencia's Javi Guerra, while an enquiry has been made about Royal Antwerp's Arthur Vermeeren.
