Arsenal target January move for Luis Suarez?

Arsene Wanger will go back in for Luis Suarez in January after the Arsenal manager was given the go-ahead to make another major signing.

Arsenal are reportedly lining up a January move for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

The Gunners were linked with Suarez, as well as other strikers, throughout the summer but their only major signing was Mesut Ozil.

According to The Mirror, Arsene Wenger has been given the green light to make another big signing in January, and wants to go back for Suarez.

Wenger convinced record signing Ozil to join on the basis that the Gunners would make further signings and challenge for trophies.

Arsenal made a late move for Demba Ba on deadline day but were unable to complete a deal, leaving them short of options up front.

Apart from Olivier Giroud, they only have Yaya Sanogo fit, which is why an established striker is top of Wenger's January shopping list.
