Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has urged the club to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech this summer.
The 32-year-old's future at Stamford Bridge is reportedly unclear as he enters the final year of contract.
With David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny both failing to assert their authority between the sticks for Arsenal this season, Parlour believes that it is the perfect time for the Gunners to swoop for Cech.
"The goalkeeping situation needs to be looked at - Wojciech Szczesny will move on and David Ospina has had his opportunity but you still need a real world-class goalkeeper," he told Sky Sports News.
"Obviously Petr Cech may be available in the summer and he's the sort of goalkeeper you have to be looking at. He's got that experience and that quality and is still a great age because keepers go on for a lot longer than outfield players."
Arsenal extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 10 matches last night with a 3-1 victory away to Hull City.
