Everton are reportedly ready to ward off interest in full-back Seamus Coleman from Arsenal by offering the Irishman a new contract.
The 25-year-old, who had been heavily linked with Manchester United in recent months, is set for a pay hike despite only recently signing a new deal, according to The People.
Everton are rumoured to be weary that Arsenal are willing to offer double Coleman current £30,000-a-week salary to lure the defender to the Emirates Stadium.
Boss Roberto Martinez is also reported to looking at possible deals for Sunderland's Jack Colback, Hoffenheim's Roberto Firmino and Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, with the Toffees set to hand the Spaniard £20m for transfers ahead of a likely return to European football.
Everton conceded two own goals as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Southampton on Saturday.
