Unai Emery 'wants three new signings' in summer transfer window

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will reportedly look to sign three new players in this summer's transfer window.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery will reportedly look to sign three new players in this summer's transfer window.

Emery was blocked from signing players on permanent deals in January, but the Gunners head coach did manage to bring Denis Suarez to the Emirates Stadium on a loan deal from Barcelona.

According to the Daily Mail, Emery is keen to secure three new additions ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign, including a left-back.

The same report has claimed that Arsenal will only have £45m to spend this summer, although another publication has placed that figure at £40m, suggesting that it could be another difficult window.

Emery will more than likely look to offload players in order to free up more funds, though, with Mesut Ozil and Shkodran Mustafi among those who could be for sale this summer.

Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Matteo Guendouzi and Stephan Lichtsteiner all arrived at Arsenal in last summer's transfer window.
