Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph has admitted that it is vital for the club to start to picking up points as they attempt to avoid relegation.
The West Midlands side are currently in 18th place in the Premier League table, and Delph has insisted that he is placing more focus on getting a result for his side than his own performances.
The 23-year-old told the Birmingham Mail: "It's nice to get a run of games and I am happy with my performances, but obviously it's about the team. It's about picking up points. That's vital now.
"My only focus is on the team. I am not interested in personal accolades. I analyse my game obviously but it's not about me.
"I would happily have a bad game if we picked up the three points. That's the only thing I care about."
Delph has made 37 Premier League appearances since moving to Villa Park in 2009.
