Atletico Madrid attacker Yannick Ferreira Carrasco is confident that he will become a better player under the stewardship of Diego Simeone.
The Belgian international joined Atletico from AS Monaco in the summer and has impressed in the early stages of his career in Spain, finding the back of the net twice in La Liga.
The 22-year-old has said that Simeone "demands a lot", but that will ultimately help him improve as a footballer.
"Everyone knows how Simeone does it. He demands a lot and newcomers often don't start in the team," AS quotes Carrasco as saying.
"Just look at the case of [Antoine] Griezmann. I thought I'd be a starter at the end of the year, but I guess I have adapted well to the style of the team. Cholo is very studious. He's our 12th man. I think I'll grow as a player under him."
Carrasco has made four La Liga starts this season and one in the Champions League.
