Diego Simeone: 'Osasuna were the better side'

Diego Simeone says that Osasuna were the better side in Atletico Madrid's 3-0 defeat at the Reyno de Navarra.

Diego Simeone has admitted that his Atletico Madrid side did not deserve anything from their match against Osasuna on Sunday evening.

Goals form Alvaro Cejudo, Emiliano Armenteros and Roberto Torres saw Osasuna complete a 3-0 victory.

"Osasuna played well today. When the opponent is better, I congratulate them," Simeone told Goal.com.

"The second half was better for us but the goal to put us back in the match didn't arrive. Osasuna played well and surprised us in the first two goals, completing the first half very well."

Atletico are now three points behind Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
